Achievements 2018

We look back with satisfaction on our achievements in 2018. Highlights included the first DMC symposium on model-based decision making. The symposium was well attended and there were lively discussions. In addition, our team was extended with two new experts (Eddymurphy Akwiwu and Zakile Mfumbilwa) and Hans Berkhof, co-chair of the DMC, was appointed professor biostatistical and health economic modeling. Furthermore, a grant was awarded to the ‘Prevention of colorectal cancer in FCRC project‘ which will be led by Dr. Veerle Coupé, chair of the DMC. Finally, our team presented their work at several international conferences (Lola HESG, APH meeting and IPVC, amongst others) and published extensively in peer-reviewed, international journals.
